It was only a couple of days past one of the biggest hail storms in memory in the Jackson area and in the midst of storm warnings all day, there would be a wedding celebration!

This wedding had been planned for months and a little storm would not get in the way of the vows. What was planned to be an outdoor wedding became an indoor celebration since Mother Nature wouldn’t allow things to happen the way they were initially planned. The weather didn’t dampen any spirits at all on this day as evidenced by the expression on Tab’s face!

This guy had enough energy and smiles to brighten this huge venue for all to see and I think it was obviously apparent to everyone who came in contact with him.

While Tab and his guys lounged around in anticipation of the 6pm start time, Melody was busy with makeup and final preparations to be sure she was just perfect…

 

 and that she was…

 

Now it’s almost time.

Now I’m not sure if everyone could see Tab’s face when he laid eyes on his bride for the very first time all day but his eyes lit up the room and his smile kept the rain away for a little while longer

.

As Melody was gracefully escorted down the aisle, all in attendance witnessed a beautiful sight coming our way. She was graceful in her walk and her dress was one of the prettiest I had seen in a while.

I’m not sure if anyone expected this type of kiss as Tab took hold of his bride and dipped her as sort of the exclamation at the end of the vows.

If the dip wasn’t enough, then how about the recessional? This couple exchanged vows and boogied down the aisle!

Upon conclusion of the ceremony, I was able get a few images of the entire bridal party as well as Melody & Tab alone.

I thought the cake was really picturesque – Great job on this setup Earl!

In between all the congrats and dancing, I was able to fire off a few more images and these are the results of some of those.

If you were wondering how was the food. Maybe a picture can give you an idea.

Once these guys were full they had plenty of energy left to handle their own on the dance floor!

It was a great (albeit Thunderstorm warning) day!
