This would be my first wedding at this particular church so the first thing to do was to capture this beautiful building! I was not there long before Tameka would arrive with a few other members of the family and we greeted each other as if we were long lost friends.
The stage was set and the atmosphere was just perfect and so were all the members of the bridal party! I tell you these guys and ladies were actually one of the highlights of the evening simnply because they were able to make the day so enjoyable and fun. I was able to capture many images of the bridal party before the start of the ceremony and that relationship lasted well into the rest of the evening.
Now as the couple exchanged vows, this would be very special for anyone in attendance because of the powerful words along with the creative lighting that set the stage for a sacred ritual such as this. When it became time to say “I do”, you could look around the church and see tears of joy, admiration among many, and all hands together to celebrate this unity.
Once the reception had gotten underway and the food deliciously atop the tables, it was a treat for the eyes!
