One of the best things about being a New Orleans wedding photographer is taking advantage of the area’s incredible surroundings. New Orleans has a rich history and beautiful architecture, and I love using that to its fullest in my shoots. For this stunning New Orleans wedding shoot, we photographed our model, Eminence, at the City Church of New Orleans and the New Orleans Museum of Art. These are two great places in New Orleans, and this was a fun way to incorporate NOLA’s culture into my work.
I am incredibly grateful to Merry of The Pink Veil for providing the wardrobe for this shoot. The stunning wedding gown added to the romance and glamour of the experience. Pastor Brian Trosclair of City Church was also instrumental in making sure this shoot was a success, and we could not have done it without him. The church provided a beautiful traditional background for a wedding ceremony.
We then moved on to shoot at the stunning New Orleans Museum of Art. This is one of the oldest museums in New Orleans and is located in historic City Park. The building is constructed with stunning marble and has many beautiful architectural details that created an incredible backdrop for our shoot. There were so many incredible shooting locations both at the museum and in the surrounding park that captured the true romance of New Orleans. The museum’s old-world sophistication combined with the many modern works featured there is the perfect representation of the broader city of New Orleans. The atmosphere paired with the beautiful gowns from The Pink Veil made for incredible results.
