Well the other day, I found myself at a location that I haven’t seen in a little while. This session would be a welcome homecoming for beautiful water and open skies on a nice warm day.
I was anxious to get started because, after talking to the bride, she seemed so anxious to get things going so this just always makes me eager to create fun and interesting photos from a location that’s often frequented by many in the area.
Well when the happy couple arrived, I was pleased from the very first image!
I have to admit that I had help from Stephanie and her wonderful personality! She was simply awesome! As I look back on some of these images, I, for just a moment, forgot exactly where we were! This place actually photographs well when all the elements come together.
In this next image is where these type of sessions really come to life. It’s those moments that are totally natural and are captured, that make for such a genuine image. You can see in their faces, the relationship and connection between the two.
This image is definitely among my favorites of the day.
Stephanie showed me an idea she had and sort of wanted a few images that went along with the vision she had. Well Stephanie, is this what you had in mind? In the photographic world, we call this “flare”. It can be caused accidentally by some who may not know how to use their equipment, but in this case, it’s used artistically and purposely to create almost an surreal image.
Ya gotta love this one! Interaction between always shows how well they work together and how they can let loose and have a little fun sometimes.
We can’t let the day go by without at least one, fashion style portrait with such a stunning bride.
I added just a little creative crop to the above image and was able to come up with this next image. Does it work for you?
This was one of the last images before we departed for the day. Closeness and intimacy is what makes my day!
This was just a quick grab as we walked to our destination point. It’s simple, yet compelling.
This wedding will be this summer. Stay tuned because I have a feeling the resulting images will prove to be just as great as the E-Session!
