This past weekend I had the privilege to shoot for Eclectik Soul once again at their 2nd album release concert. If you missed it, you were greatly disappointed because they held one heck of a concert!
The concert was held at the historic Alamo Theater in downtown Jackson and the place was jammin! Jammed pack with people and music and entertainment along with all the extras.
When I arrived, it was like this group had been known for years because parking was tight and the lighting and aura from this place just spoke up a dynamic evening. Upon arrival, all the acts were very relaxed and just having fun as they made last minute preparations just before show time. It’s a HUGE perk to be photographer and friend of the entertainment because I get the best seat in the house and backstage passes! Life can be so much fun! :))
It was showtime as I was overwhelmed with excitement and honor to be at the event as the lights dimmed and the music began. There were just so many photo opps and yet I struggled to find my job as “working” when I was having so much fun.
