Don’t you just love those folks that set up on the side of the road to sell their goods and services? I know most of you have at least stopped and checked them out 🙂 Well I was out and about today when I decided to stop at one of these vendors just to see what it was really about. It reminds me of a flea market, sort of. now this particular vendor is always in the same place, on the same street, but I guess it’s much like a tree or landmark to me. You already know he’s going to be there, so you can actually give good directions by using this guy as a landmark!
When I got out of the car, I was greeted by a guy that seemed to be in good spirit considering the heat today. He offered area rugs, beds in a bag, bath rugs and accessories, and a few other odd items. Believe it or not, I was quit surprised at the merchandise! It was priced to move although I’m not sure of the quality, but boy did the prices seem attractive in today’s economy.
And yep, in the background you can see traces of the last severe storm that hit the Jackson area by the light pole that’s barely hanging on!
